Primary Care vacancy: Paramedic Practitioner. Snodland Practice.

Snodland Practice are a forward thinking, training practice looking for a Paramedic/ Paramedic Practitioner to join their evolving clinical team.

They are looking for a dynamic team player who would be primarily managing on-the-day demand for acute presentations alongside our current paramedic.

The post would be for 30 hours a week but that is negotiable.

They are currently hosting 3 GP trainees and a paramedic trainee ACP; with in-house experience in mentoring through Enhanced Clinical Skills, Prescribing and ACP Masters qualifications. The practice actively support in-house development and career progression. They have regular clinical meetings to discuss cases, role development and provide clinical teaching.

The practice has good QoF attainment and was rated Good in all areas in our recent CQC inspection. CQC commented that “Staff dealt with patients with kindness and respect and involved them in decisions about their care. There was compassionate, inclusive and effective leadership at all levels.”

Their GPs have special interests in education, cardiology, minor surgery, frailty, ophthalmology and mental health and we have in-house capability for starting diabetes injectables.

Staff well-being, mentoring and support are at the heart of their work culture.

They would be very happy to facilitate a chat with a GP and their Paramedic if you wanted to learn more about the role.
