Mental Health Awareness Week 9-15 May 2022

Mental Health Awareness week begins on Monday 9 - Sunday 15 May. The theme this year is loneliness. Join us during the week as we share some advice and tips on what to do if you or someone you know is feeling lonely.

Loneliness is something that can affect any one of us at any point in our lives, and this is something that has affected many people over the last year.

Social distancing restrictions are lifting and many people will continue to struggle with loneliness and isolation after lockdown, but also to reinforce the importance of social connections.

Checking in with a family member or friend can help them feel less lonely - and it could lift you up too.

This Mental Health Awareness Week, take some time to think about your own mental health. Looking after ourselves can help us to learn new ways to cope with life’s challenges and lead happier, healthier lives.
