An exciting opportunity has arisen for GP colleagues interested in supporting undergraduate medical education
We are looking to appoint enthusiastic GPs with an interest in supporting undergraduate medical education at the Kent and Medway Medical School, University of Kent. Successful candidates will be fully supported to complete a Certificate in Medical Education during the post.
The Kent and Medway Medical School, University of Kent works in partnership with the Kent and Medway Training Hubs, General Practice as Health Education England to deliver this programme.
With 1.8million people living in Kent and Medway, forty two primary care networks across Kent and Medway all work in partnership with the community, mental health, social care, pharmacy, hospital, and voluntary services in the local area, designed to offer more personalised, coordinated health and social care to the people living in their area.
The post holder will be based in General Practice, with a minimum of 3 sessions a week. Those who currently do not have a current salaried post will be offered support to obtain one within Kent and Medway. The post holder will provide clinical teaching for undergraduate medical students under the direction of KMMS.
