KSCMP Core Skills Training

A half-day workshop looking at key concepts to support families in: 

‐ Building Blocks to Change 

‐ Building Family Strengths 

‐ Building Protection in Context 

By the end of the session, participants will be able to consider how their own values and experiences impact on their work with children, young people and families, and how individuals manage change.  The session will support participants to work in a strength‐based way and to understand how trauma may manifest itself in children, young people and families.  

Participants will be encouraged to step out of their expert role and to empower the family to become experts in their own solutions.
