The Kent & Medway Training Hubs, in Partnership with local sponsors have secured funding for a Primary Care Fellowship programme (3 options available) to run over 12 months.





GPs and Clinicians in Kent & Medway are invited to apply with an expression of interest for these fantastic opportunities -


Fellowships are 1-year funded posts in Primary Care to gain experience in either:


  • Digital Transformation:

  • Population & Strategy:

  • Quality & Learning:

Sponsor: Rosie Baur, Deputy Chief Nurse - rosie.baur@nhs.net


Information on the programme:


Typically, the post will involve 2 sessions (one day/week paid at £18,963) in a role across Kent & Medway Integrated Care System (ICS).


There will be also be 12 sessions attendance required for the Kent & Medway Primary Care ICS Transformation Programme over the year; this programme focusses on Leadership, Digital and Innovation, and Quality Improvement (£2,220 for completion).


You will have a leader in the system as your named sponsor and a clinical mentor who works at Kent & Medway ICS level.


You will already have (or aim to have) a substantive post in Primary Care in Kent & Medway with 4 to 6 sessions per week during this year; you will deliver a project that is related to your fellowship role and delivers on system needs.
