Primary Care vacancy: Clinical Pharmacist. Snodland Practice.


Snodland Practice are looking for a dynamic, team player who could complement their growing clinical team.






A role with an interesting range of responsibilities ranging from medication reviews, supporting “Prescribing staff”. There would be face to face consultations for minor illness and some chronic diseases like Hypertension & Asthma.


This is a new role and would evolve with input from the successful candidate.


The post would be for 30 hours a week but that is negotiable.


Snodland Medical Practice has purpose built modern premises, with ample parking. They are a practice of 12000 patients, 7 GPs, 1 advanced nurse practitioner, 1 paramedic practitioner, 3 nurses, 2 health care assistants and 1 phlebotomist. They are currently hosting 3 GP trainees and a paramedic trainee ACP; with in-house experience in mentoring through Enhanced Clinical Skills, Prescribing and ACP Masters qualifications. They actively support in-house development and career progression. The practice have regular clinical meetings to discuss cases, role development and provide clinical teaching.


The practice has a good QoF attainment and was rated Good in all areas in our recent CQC inspection (October 2022). CQC commented that “Staff dealt with patients with kindness and respect and involved them in decisions about their care. There was compassionate, inclusive and effective leadership at all levels.”


Staff well-being, mentoring and support are at the heart of our work culture.


GPs have special interests in education, cardiology, minor surgery, frailty, ophthalmology and mental health and we have in-house capability for starting diabetes injectables.
