This course is open to clinicians in Kent and Medway who work in Primary Care and have a passion for supporting people living with cancer.
The course runs over 2 half days (delivered virtually) and 2 full days (delivered face to face ) at the Digital Innovation Centre in Folkestone.
You will need to attend all four dates to complete the course:
16th March 9.15-12.15 (Virtual)
26th April 9.30-16:30 (Digital Innovation Centre)
25th May 9.15-12.15 (Virtual)
23rd June 9.30-16.30 (Digital Innovation Centre)
Aims of the course:
To empower clinicians involved with long term condition review to complete cancer care reviews for people living with cancer.
Learn about cancer prevention, risk factors and signs and symptoms.
Reflect on the effect of cancer on the human body.
Explore the immediate and long term effects of cancer treatment.
Learn about all of the services and support mechanisms available to support people.
