Kent Modern Slavery Conference 'First Encounters' - Book your place

Join Kent Police in Canterbury for a stimulating and informative day to learn more about the impact of this often-hidden crime and what role your organisation can play in combating it.

So many working in frontline, community facing roles in Kent are encountering victims of modern slavery. You are much better positioned to spot the signs of modern slavery than you may think.

This conference is particularly suitable for those who have a safeguarding, training or CSR role, along with those in community-facing roles in high-risk sectors. In this way the learnings from the conference can be escalated to others within your own organisation afterwards.

You can find all the details of the conference and register for a place using the Eventbrite link below. Please feel free to share the link with other colleagues you feel would benefit from attending.

There is a nominal Conference Fee of £5 per person, payable to Stop the Traffik Kent, to cover the costs of your refreshments at the venue on the day.

The venue will have COVID compliant measures in place including hand sanitiser stations, good ventilation and appropriate seating arrangement and space. Delegates should feel free to wear a face mask.
