Civic, Community, and faith partners came together to attend an online event to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD) on Wednesday, January 27th. The event was organised by the Kent Equality Cohesion Council and Cohesion Plus in partnership with Dartford Borough Council. The theme for Holocaust Memorial Day this year was “Be the light in the Darkness”, to encourage everyone to reflect on the depths humanity can sink to, but also the ways individuals and communities have resisted that darkness to ‘be the light’ before, during and after the genocide.
The link to the full event can be found below.
Furthermore, we are attaching a link to an evaluation survey where you can rate the overall quality of the event amongst other things. We would really appreciate if you took the time to complete this as we can only improve upon the quality of our event content with your feedback.
You may also recall that Gurvinder mentioned work we are conducting around the Covid 19 vaccine and the public perception towards this in Kent. This work has been made even more significant as reports around minority communities refusing the vaccine have come to light.
The survey itself will only take 1 minute to complete and we would greatly appreciate it if you could share it widely amongst your contacts. Please be mindful that if you take the survey before you share, the link may not work for others. So please either forward on before you complete or copy and paste the URL from the survey itself and send it on.
