The Health and Care Women Leaders Network celebrates International Women’s Day (IWD) each year:
Join us at IWD2023 as we continue our work to champion inclusion, scrutinise and challenge workplace bias against women, and celebrate the skills and talents of women across health and care.
With a focus on the theme of #EmbraceEquity, we will start the day with an early morning Tweet chat from 7.30 to 8.30am. More details will follow soon, including the topic, our guest panel members, chat hashtag and how you can get involved.
The celebrations will continue with a virtual event to be held on Zoom from 10am to 12pm, where you will hear from NHS chief executive Amanda Pritchard and our network chair Samantha Allen. You will also hear from organisations that are doing great work to progress gender equality and make a positive difference for women working in health and care.
Be in great company, with others who are passionate about gender equality – everyone is welcome.
Book your free place now and encourage your colleagues and others to join too.
Are you planning a celebration of IWD2023 in your organisation or network? Email us at women.leaders@nhsconfed.org to let us know more and we can share it via our networks.
We also have a thriving network of health and care women’s networks, with over 60 organisations represented. If you are the chair or lead of a women’s network in health and care and would like to join, you can sign-up here.
