Sexual and Reproductive Health for Patients with Learning Disabilities

This workshop is for Practice Nurses and AHPs in Dartford, Gravesham, and Swanley

To support participants to ensure their sexual and reproductive health services are fully inclusive to people with learning disabilities

      This course will give delegates: 

1. Have increased knowledge of the law, policies and guidelines about sex and people with learning disabilities
2. Have considered what sexuality means for someone with a learning disability
3. Identify the main support people with learning disabilities might need from a sexual and reproductive health service
4. Have discussed case studies and best practice responses   
5. Be more aware of the accessible resources available for them to use in consultations with people with learning disabilities
